Football T-Shirt Blanket

This is a Tshirt from my oldest brother-in-laws high school football days.  (the same one who had the khaki pants..)  and I have had this shirt in my possession for several years now.  He gave it to me in a bunch of stuff to put in a garage sale and I just couldn't part with it.  I knew one day I would make something out of it that he could use again.
This is the front.  I used football fabric from my stash and made a blanket for my nephew Dalton.  It's super heavy because I put batting and an extra layer to help support each side of the tshirt.

Here is the back with games they played listed...

if you haven't noticed I have been on a serious kick to use up some of my stash..

have a great day!

P.S. I should add that my BIL LOVED it! He thought it was cool that it was his tshirt made into something that his son could use :) made me feel good.

Dog bed? Doll bed?

Here is a quick little project that I made out of a piece of scrap flannel I had.  It's small so I was thinking it'd be great for a little dog to lay on or maybe a dollie to rest her head on?

And you'll never guess what it's filled with....scraps! little teeny tiny ones that I know I can't use for anything else (trust me I keep whatever I can still use) and little threads and things that shouldn't go to waste.  This way I am getting rid of my stash and I think it's cute!  Didn't cost me a thing! It'll be nice for a little dog or a doll to lay on!

Baby Boy Quilt

Finally! I have pictures to post!

This is a little quilt that I made for Dan and I to put away until we have kids.  I have a small stash started of things to make for our future children because I'm afraid that when the time comes I will be too tired and busy to quilt and no one will have the time to make anything for my babies.  So here is the top...it has yet to be quilted...

A long time ago my mom bought me a bundle of fat quarters and it had 5 in the bundle...I had no idea what pattern to use so I googled "5 fat quarter baby blanket" or some combination of it...and I found this pattern which actually uses 6 fat quarters but I improvised and I think future Baby Boy will love to snuggle with it :)
